Snow began falling at the end of November. Little did anyone realise then that it was the beginning of nearly two weeks being snowbound!

Saturday morning we were impressed with the snowfall |
By Monday morning it was still coming down as I waited for the bus |
And waited and waited and waited |
And eventually went home |
As the days went by more snow came |
The neighbourhood was completely white |
Cold starlings in the snow |
Starlings eating breadcrumbs that David put out |
At the end of the week I get all bundled up (warm, if not colour-coordinated) |
As does David |
And we walk out toward Ladybank |
Berries in the snow along the way |
We cross the creek |
And go down the tree-lined road |
To Ladybank |
We buy some food at the Spar grocery |
The second Monday I wait for the bus |
But it is again in vain |
I walk to Ladybank across the creek |
And down the snow-tree road |
Where the trains are all cancelled |
And the buses also do not come |
The next day I walk to Kingskettle |
And Judith's street That's Judith by her house |
However, we fail to get her car to go anywhere |
Wednesday morning that's not snow David is clearing from the car |
It's frost |
We make it to the University! |
David heads to archery |
And I go through the quad to my office |
The next morning I see they've plowed the neighbourhood |
The snow pile is as tall as me! |
And this morning the bus comes |
During the ride I watch the sunrise over the snowy countryside |
