Thanksgiving with Tom and Tora

Tom and Tora had a Thanksgiving party at their house, the weekend after the holiday. David and I drive down and see some sights along the way.

As the trip starts we pass an interesting tower near Edinburgh	We have a picnic lunch at St Martin's Kirk	Anne at St Martins
We pass a cement factory	And nuclear power plant	Plus speed cameras
We reach the English border	There is an English flag	But three Scottish flags across the street
Anne standing across the border	David sitting across the border	The border continues along the fields
Later on there is a pretty view	We cross a causeway	To see Lindisfarne Castle
On the way back the tide has started to come in	It's a bit wet	David once we've crossed back
After crossing back we finally find the tide tables	The moon is pretty	We reach Tom and Tora's house
Where there is a party	Here is Tora with Sean	They put out a nice spread
And Tom carves the turkey	The next day on the way home we stop at St Oswald's Church	And see some sheep
Anne at St Oswalds	At St Oswalds I see some holly	We see the Roman fort at Housesteads on Hadrian's wall
At the fort there's a chaffinch	The fort	This was a room with a heated floor
Hadrian's wall continues out to the East	and West	and even further West
David on the wall	Anne on the wall	There is a nice view from the wall
David looks at the view	We continue on through Northumbria	We pass kayakers on the drive
Finally we cross back into Scotland
